Abstract

Social relations at the Aegean and Marmara Regions during the Neolithic and Chalcolithic Agescomprise one of the important problems of Anatolian archeology. It has been observed as a resultof the studies carried out that data for the Neolithic Age is very few at the Marmara Region. Thecave paintings discovered during the 2015 season at the Baltalıin and İnkaya caves located within theborders of Balıkesir-Dursunbey district, Delice Village will play an important role for compensatingthis lack. The paintings that are related with Neolithic Age belief systems make up unique examplesfor Anatolian history and art with regard to their subject matter and styles of expression.
