Abstract
Introduction: Search and rescue efforts are of great importance in order to minimize the loss of life that may occur after a disaster. In order to develop these studies, the academy needs to increase its activities in the field. Purpose: The aim of this study is to bring together information on postgraduate theses in the field of search and rescue in Türkiye, to determine the trend of the studies and to guide those who will work in the field. Methods: In this study, a quantitative research method was adopted. Postgraduate theses in the field of search and rescue in Türkiye were obtained and bibliometric analysis was performed on these theses. Results: The distribution of theses according to years, levels, advisor titles, methods, universities and branches of science was determined and graphs were created. In addition, a word cloud obtained from keywords and a model obtained from the subjects of theses were created to visualize the findings. Conclusion: It is thought that academic studies in the relevant field in Türkiye are late. In theses in the field, it has been observed that the trend is on the subject of "Technology". Giriş: Bir afetin ardından yaşanabilecek can kaybının en aza indirilebilmesi için arama kurtarma çalışmaları büyük önem arz etmektedir. Söz konusu çalışmaları geliştirebilmek amacıyla akademinin alandaki faaliyetlerini artırması gerekmektedir. Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de arama kurtarma alanında yapılmış lisansüstü tezlere ait bilgileri bir araya getirerek çalışmaların eğilimini belirlemek ve alanda çalışma yapacak olanlara yol göstermektir. Yöntem: Bu çalışmada nicel bir araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Türkiye’de arama kurtarma alanında yapılan lisansüstü tezler elde edilerek bu tezler üzerinde bibliyometrik analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Tezlerin yıllara, düzeylerine, danışman ünvanlarına, yöntemlerine, üniversitelere ve bilim dallarına göre dağılımları belirlenerek grafikler oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca anahtar kelimelerden elde edilen bir kelime bulutu ve tezlerin konularından elde edilen bir model oluşturularak bulgular görselleştirilmiştir. Sonuç: Türkiye’de, ilgili alanda yapılan akademik çalışmalarda geç kalındığı düşünülmektedir. Alandaki tezlerde, eğilimin “Teknoloji” konusunda olduğu görülmüştür. Oluşturulan grafiklerin ve modelin, alanda çalışma yapacak araştırmacılar için yeni bir bakış açısı sunacağı ve mevcut durumun görünürlüğüne fayda sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
