Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze research on total quality management practices using the content analysis method. Articles and conference proceedings obtained through a search of the Web of Science and Scopus databases were included in the study. The content analysis method was employed in this research. According to the findings, 19 scientific articles and 1 conference proceeding were examined, with a predominant use of quantitative research methods. Data was collected and analyzed using various techniques. It was determined that most studies relied on quantitative methods, with surveys being the most used data collection technique. The relatively low number of qualitative studies indicates a limitation in conducting in-depth analyses within the sector. However, studies employing qualitative and mixed methods provide valuable insights into organizational culture, customer expectations, and strategic management processes in the insurance sector. In conclusion, it is recommended that future research in the insurance sector increase methodological diversity and conduct more comprehensive analyses by considering different market dynamics.
