Abstract

The Nowadays, people prefer to live in cities more. Cities are transforming into Smart Cities by experiencing a technological transformation in order to meet this increasing crowd of people and their needs. Technology is used extensively in many areas in Smart Cities, and one of these areas is transportation. In the study, it is aimed to examine urban mobility with Smart Cities and Intelligent Transportation Systems. In addition, in the study, the general ranking of Smart cities and Mobility and Transportation rankings were evaluated based on IESE Cities in Motion Index (CIMI) scores. As a result; while London has the highest CIMI score; Shanghai ranks first in the Mobility and Transport ranking. In urban transportation, the maximum distance per minute is taken in İzmir. The price of 1 liter of gasoline in New York is the lowest compared to other cities with 0.72 unit money. Annual estimated CO2 (kg / passenger) is at most in Istanbul and the number of trees (per person) required to compensate for this is 84.6. In Reykjavik, the use of cars for business and school transportation is 70.31%.
