Abstract

More than half of HIV infected patients encounter pul- monary complications,at least once during term of their ill- ness. The patients have more opportunistic infections and tumors, because of the immune system supression. In early HIV disease, in which immune response is relatively pro- tected;pulmonary infections are of same agents with nor- mal population, but more offen. The treatment of these complications is very expensive and difficult; instead, the use of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) has led to marked reduction in the incidence of the most of these complications. Incidence of HIV infection and its pul- monary complications are increasing in our country so that we should give more knowledge about this disease.
