Abstract

Objective: Hematuria is one of the common clinical problems in practical pediatric medicine. In our study we wanted ted to search about the ethiologic factors in the patients who applied to our clinic with hematuria. Study design: Prospective study Materials & methotds: Patient diagnosed to have 59 patients which have hematuric problem in pediatric clinic of Vakýf Gureba Training and Research Hospital between January 1998 to June 2001 were evaluated retrospectively . Results: Thirty of the patient were female and 29 were male. The age group was between 2 months to 14 years (mean age 7.05± 3.92 ). In 11 (18.64%) patients macro- scopic hematuria was determinated the reasons of hema- turia were respectively; 15 (25.42%) ürinary tract infection, 12 (20.33%) poststreptococcic acut glomerulonephritis, 6 (10.16%) nephrotic syndrome, 4 (6.7%) hypercalsiüria, 4 (6.7%) urinary stones, 3 (5.08%) vasculitis. Conclusion: It is important that to find the reason and order the treatment at the patients with hematuria.

Özet

Amaç: Hematüri pediatri pratiğinde sık karşılaşılan klinik problemlerden birisidir. Çalışmamızda polikliniğimizde hematüri tespit ettiğimiz hastalarda etyolojik faktörleri irdelemek istedik.Çalışma düzeni: Prospektif klinik çalışma Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmamızda Ocak 1998 - Haziran 2001 tarihleri arasında Vakıf Gureba Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Çocuk Hastalıkları Polikliniğine başvuran ve takipleri yapılan hematürili 59 hasta prospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Hastaların yaşları, cinsiyetleri, geliş şikayetleri ve hematüri nedenlerini gözden geçirildi. Bulgular:Vakaların 30'u ( %50.84) kız, 29’u (%49.16)erkekti. Yaş grubu 2 ay-14 yıl ortalama 7.05 ± 3.92 idi.Olguların 11'inde (%18.64) makroskopik hematüri tespitedildi. Saptadığımız hematüri nedenleri sıklık sırasıyla 15(%25.42) olguda üriner sistem enfeksiyonu, 12 (% 20.33)olguda postreptokoksik akut glomerulonefrit, 6 (% 10.16)olguda nefrotik sendrom, 4 (%6.7) olguda hiperkalsiüri, 4(%6.7) olguda üriner sistemde taş, 3 (%5.08) olguda vaskülit olarak belirlendi. Sonuç: Hematüri tespit edilen hastalarda nedenin belirlenerek buna yönelik tedavinin düzenlenmesi önemlidir.
