Abstract
Today, people use different natural resources and areas to get away from urban stress, to live a little bit of rural life, to be intertwined with nature and to meet recreation needs. Planning of recreational areas according to the natural characteristics of the region with the requests of visitors is very important in terms of sustainability and quality of recreation. Located in Çağlayan District of Erzincan province, Girlevik Falls is one of the most important recreational areas in terms of the landscape and natural landscape beauty of our country. In this study, it was aimed to determine the adequacy levels, recreational trends and demands of the current recreational activities of the visitors coming to Erzincan Girlevik waterfall and its vicinity and their views on the visitor density of the area. The study was conducted between November and June 2017-2018. 385 face-to-face questionnaires were conducted with visitors from the area within the scope of the survey. The survey form was formed by evaluating the literature on the subject. Data collected at the end of the questionnaire were evaluated in SPSS 21.0 statistical package program and frequency tables were extracted. Günümüzde insanlar kent stresinden uzaklaşmak, özlem duyduğu kırsal yaşamı bir nebze olsunyaşayabilmek, doğa ile iç içe olmak ve rekreasyon gereksinimlerini karşılamak için farklı doğalkaynaklar ve alanları kullanmaktadırlar. Rekreasyonel alanların ziyaretçi istekleri ile bölgenin doğalözelliklerine uygun planlanması sürdürülebilirlik ve rekreasyon kalitesi açısından oldukça önemlidir.Erzincan İli, Çağlayan Beldesi’nde bulunan Girlevik Şelalesi’de, ülkemizin manzara ve doğal peyzajgüzelliği bakımından önemli rekreasyonel alanlarından birisidir. Bu çalışmada, Erzincan GirlevikŞelalesi ve yakın çevresine gelen ziyaretçilerin mevcut rekreasyonel etkinliklerin yeterlilik düzeyleri,rekreasyonel eğilimleri ve talepleri ile alanın ziyaretçi yoğunluğuna dair görüşlerinin belirlenmesiamaçlanmıştır. Çalışma 2017-2018 yıllarında Kasım-Haziran ayları arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırma kapsamında alana gelen ziyaretçilerle 385 adet yüz yüze anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anketformu konu ile ilgili literatürler değerlendirilerek hazırlanmıştır. Anket çalışmasında toplanan verilerSPSS 21.0 istatistik paket programında değerlendirilmiş ve frekans tabloları çıkarılmıştır. Toplanansonuçlar analiz edilerek alana gelen ziyaretçilerin rekreasyonel istekleri belirlenmiş, buna bağlı olarakalan planlaması ile ilgili öneriler sunulmuştur.
