Özet

Temel amacı sosyal etki yaratmak olan, kar odaklı faaliyet gösteren fayda şirketleri, etkilerinin raporlanması ve sertifikalanması gereği ile diğer sosyal işletmelerden ayrılır. Bu çalışmada, yönetsel bağlamda henüz ele alınan fayda şirketleri açısından bir durum değerlendirilmesi yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bağımsız, kar amacı gütmeyen, elli ülkede faaliyet gösteren B Lab tarafından sertifikalanan Türkiye’deki fayda şirketleri ─B Corp’lar─ kapsamında, birincil ve ikincil veri kaynaklarından yararlanılarak, nitel bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Türkiye’deki fayda şirketlerinin, B Corp sertifikası ile misyonlarını somutlaştırdığını, fayda yaratan işletmeler için yol gösterici olabildiklerini düşündüğü izlenmiştir. Söz konusu şirketlerin, B Corp sertifikasını işbirliği geliştirmede ve sosyal etki yatırımcılarını kendilerine çekmede kullanmayı hedeflediği görülmektedir. Şirketlerin deneyimleri, fayda şirketlerinin Türkiye’de yaygınlık kazanmasında yasal düzenlemelerin işlevsel olacağına işaret etmektedir. Yaygınlıkla birlikte fayda şirketlerinin bilirliğinin de artacağı beklenmektedir.
