Abstract

Nature-based tourism activities need to be carried out by the protection-use principle for the sustainability of different ecosystems. This study aims to develop an ecotourism planning and management model for the Yamaçdere watershed. For this purpose, data on land observations of natural and human resources in the research area and land characteristics created with the ArcGIS program were collected, processed and a management model was tried to be created. As a result of the research, it was determined that the project area was 6.73ha, was between 84-184 m altitude, and 45.08% of the land was located on sunny aspects and between 1-95% slopes. Of 16 different activities have been planned for the research area, compatible with natural resources and other environmental factors. Beekeeping and honey production activity was planned in the highest slope group (49-65%); While stone bridges, hidden gardens and angling activities was planned in the lowest slope group (1-10%). According to the aspect, the most activity is in the north-northeast aspects. Organic wastes that will be released as a result of the activities will be recycled with the vermicompost technique. All activities proposed for the project area will be paid and by appointment. It can be said that the planned project will contribute to qualified and sustainable ecotourism practices.

Doğa temelli turizm aktivitelerinin koruma-kullanma ilkesine uygun olarak yapılması farklı ekosistemlerin sürdürülebilirliği için oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Yamaç Deresi havzası için ekoturizm amaçlı planlama ve yönetim modelinin geliştirilmesidir. Bu amaçla araştırma alanındaki doğal ve beşerî kaynaklara ait yapılan arazi gözlemleri ve ArcGIS programıyla oluşturulan arazi karakteristikleri ile ilgili veriler toplanmış, işlenmiş ve yönetim modeli oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda proje alanının 6.73ha büyüklüğünde, 84-184 m yükseltileri arasında ve arazilerinin %45,08’inin güneşli bakılarda ve % 1-95 eğimler arasında yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma alanı için doğal kaynak ve diğer çevresel faktörlerle uyumlu 16 farklı etkinlik planlanmıştır. En yüksek eğim gurubunda (%49-65) arıcılık ve bal üretim etkinliği; en düşük eğim gurubunda (%1-10) taş köprü, saklı bahçe ve olta balıkçılığı etkinlikleri planlanmıştır. Bakıya göre en fazla etkinlik kuzey-kuzeydoğu bakılardadır. Etkinlikler sonucu açığa çıkacak organik kökenli atıklar vermikompost tekniği ile geri kazanılacaktır. Proje sahası için önerilen etkinliklerin tümü ücretli ve randevulu olacaktır. Planlaması yapılan proje ile nitelikli ve sürdürülebilir ekoturizm uygulamalarına katkı sağlayacağı söylenebilir.
