Abstract
Idioms can be defined as special words or word groups that are used with a different meaning than their dictionary meaning. These phrases that we often use in daily conversations reflect the way of thinking, lifestyle and cultural characteristics of the society they are in. Idioms used in the kurdish language carry cultural codes, just like in other languages. It is of great importance to record idioms in order to preserve these codes of the language and pass them on to future generations. In this study, we will briefly introduce the first volume of the "İdyomên Kurdi" prepared by Mehmet Emin Bozarslan and talk about the general characteristics of kurdish idioms.
Özet
Deyimler, sözlük anlamı yerine farklı bir anlamla kullanılan özel kelime veya kelime grupları olarak tanımlanabilir. Günlük konuşmalarda sıklıkla kullandığımız bu kalıplar içinde bulundukları toplumun düşünce tarzı, yaşam şekli ve kültürel özelliklerini yansıtır. Kürt dilinde kullanılan deyimler tıpkı diğer dillerde olduğu gibi kültürel kodlar taşır. Dilin bu kodlarını koruyup gelecek nesillere aktarmak için deyimlerin kayıt altına alınması büyük önem taşır. Mehmet Emin Bozarslan tarafından hazırlanan "İdyomên Kurdİ" adlı kitabın ilk cildi Deng Yayınevinden çıktı. Biz bu çalışmada kitabı kısaca tanıtıp Kürtçe deyimlerin genel özelliklerinden bahsedeceğiz.
