Abstract

In the age of digitalization in the rapidly developing technology world, the usage areas of sensor-based measurement systems are expanding by keeping up with this development in laboratory medicine. Biosensors will play an important role in the follow-up of epidemic diseases due to their features such as easy use, portability, fast and precise results. The corona virus disease, which emerged in 2019 in the city of Wuhan, China, has turned into a pandemic. The development of diagnostic tests for the follow-up and control of the pandemic and the selection of samples to be used in diagnostic tests have gained great importance. In this review, information is given about how the diagnosis and follow-up of the corona virus disease is done today, and information about the usability of biosensors for diagnosis and follow-up.

Özet

Hızla gelişen teknoloji dünyada dijitalleşme çağında laboratuvar tıbbının da bu gelişime ayak uydurarak sensör tabanlı ölçüm sistemlerinin kullanım alanları genişlemektedir. Biyosensörler kolay kullanımı, portatif olması, hızlı ve kesin sonuç vermesi gibi özelliklerinden dolayı salgın hastalık takibinde önemli rol oynayacaktır. Çin'in Wuhan şehrinde 2019 yılında ortaya çıkan korona virüs hastalığı pandemi haline dönüşmüştür.
