Araştırmada ergenlerin iç kontrol odağı düzeylerini karar vermede öz saygı karar verirken kullandıkları başa çıkma stilleri ihtiyatlı seçicilik umursamazlık panik ve sorumluluktan kaçma ve problem çözme düzeylerinin ne oranda yordadığını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır Araştırma 199’u 53 4 kız 174’ü 46 6 erkek 373 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaşları 15 19 yaşları arasında değişmektedir Araştırmada “Nowicki Strickland İç Dış Kontrol Odağı Ölçeği” “Ergenlerde Karar Verme Ölçeği” ve “Problem Çözme Envanteri” kullanılmıştır Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin iç kontrol odağının yordayıcılarının toplam varyansa katkıları açısından sırasıyla “problem çözme” karar vermede “özsaygı” karar vermede kullanılan başaçıkma stillerinden “umursamazlık” ve “ihtiyatlı seçicilik” olduğu belirlenmiştir Değişkenlerin tamamı toplam varyansın 27 8’ini açıklamaktadır Anahtar Sözcükler: Kontrol odağı karar verme stilleri problem çözme The Role Of Decision Making And Problem Solving In Predicting Locus Of Control Among Adolescents
