Özet
Osmanlı Devletindeki vakıfların sosyal, ekonomik, idari bir çok yönü bulunmaktaydı. Osmanlı Devletinde toprak yönetimi diğer çağdaşı devletlerde olduğu gibi oldukça önemliydi ve devlet gelirlerinin önemli bir kısmı toprak gelirlerinden elde ediliyordu. Toprak rejimi açısından vakıflar Osmanlıda oldukça tartışmalıdır. Özellikle “evladiyelik vakıflar” kanalıyla özel şahısların vakıfları özel mülkleri gibi kullandıkları ve devleti zarara uğrattıkları genel bir yargı halini almıştır. Bu araştırma özet olarak Osmanlı’da vakıf sisteminin işleyişi ve toprak rejimi üzerindeki etkileri konu edilmektedir.
