Abstract

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the early results of stapled hemorrhoidopexy in patients with grade 3 and 4 hemorrhoidal disease. Materialand Method: 30 patients who have grade 3 and 4 hemorrhoidal disease andapplied stapled hemorrhoidopexy was included to study. Demographic dataof patients, postoperative analgesic requirements, lenght of hospital stay, operation time, complication and recurrences were recorded. Results: 19 patients were female and 11 patients were men. Average age of patients were32 (27-52). The most common symptom in admission was rectal bleeding.18 patients have grade 3 hemorrhoid disease and 12 patients have grade 4hemorrhoid diesease. Average lenght of hospital stay was 1.5 days (1-10).5 patients needed narcotic analgesic at postoperative period. One patienthad hemorrhage after 8 hours of operation. One patient had rectum perforation. 2 recurrences detected in the early postoperative period. Discussion:Although stapled hemorrhoidectomy is less painful than conventional techniques, long-term results are still controversial.

Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı grade 3 ve 4 hemoroidal hastalığı olanlarda stapler hemoroidopeksinin (SH) erken dönem sonuçlarını değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Üçüncü ve 4. derece hemoroidal hastalık tanısı konan ve SHyapılan 30 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Hastalara ait demografik veriler, klinik bulgular, operasyon sonrası analjezik gereksinimi, hastanede kalış süresi, operasyon süresi, komplikasyonlar ve operasyon sonrası takipte karşılaşılannüksler kayıt edildi. Bulgular: Hastaların 19sı kadın, 11i erkek idi. Hastalarınyaş ortalaması 32 (27-52) idi. Hastaların en sık başvuru şikayeti rektal kanama idi. 18 hastada 3. derece, 12 hastada 4. derece hemoroid mevcuttu. Postoperatif hastanede kalış süresi ortalama 1,5 gün (1-10 gün) idi. Beş hastadaoperasyon sonrası dönemde narkotik analjezik gereksinimi oldu. Bir hastadaoperasyon sonrası 8.saatte kanama izlendi. Bir hastada rektum perforasyonugelişti. 2 hastada erken dönemde nüks izlendi. Tartışma: Stapler Hemoroidopeksi konvansiyonel yöntemlere kıyasla daha az ağrılı olmasına karşın uzundönem sonuçları halen tartışmalıdır.
