Abstract

A 16-year-old girl referred us with a perforati-on in the coronal third because of a wrong ac-cess preparation. Dental history of the patient revealed a hit to her mouth when she was 14-year- old. She stated that her upper right and left, central and lateral incisors had been completely avulsed and she had immediately replanted them into their sockets by herself. 2,5 years later, because of a severe sensitivity to heat and especially cold in her maxillary left central, root canal treatment was planned by a general dentist. When the patient referred to our clinic, the clinical observation revealed that there was a perforation in the coronal third because of a rong access preparation however, the radiographie appearance of periodontal structures were healthy. Root canal treatment was performed and the perforation was closed with amalgam by surgical inventi-on. Further clinical and radiological examinations revealed that all the related teeth are he-althy and in function.
