Developments and progress in many fields have direct impact on the buildings design and usages. The aim of this study is revolving the negative impacts of all these to positive and adjusting the these buildings to today’s conditions. In addition to these, the physical and functional depreciation of industrial buildings had evaluated by examining Trabzon, Akçaabat, Samsun Tekel Factory buildings in the Black Sea region. The goal is to taken attention to re-usage of the similar kind of buildings that have important place in in our industrial heritage.

Bütün alanlardaki hızlı gelişmeler ve değişimler binaların tasarım ve kullanımlarını doğrudan etkilemektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, bu gibi değişimlerin binalar üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerinin olumlu yöne çevirmek ve günümüz koşullarına uygun hale getirmektir. Endüstri binaları üzerindeki fiziksel ve fonksiyonel eskimeleri değerlendirilerek, Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde bulunan Trabzon, Akçaabat ve Samsun binaları incelenerek, ülkemiz endüstri mirasında önemli yere sahip olan bu binaların ve benzerlerinin tekrar kullanımlarını gündeme getirmek hedeflenmiştir.
