Abstract

This research was planned to determine the effects of storage conditions of wet sugar beet pulp on nutrient matter levels and in vitro digestion. For this aim, samples were taken from the first production of wet sugar beet pulp from the sugar factory (Control) and the new packaging sacks from the packaging company (Packaged Control). Two sugar beet pulp samples were taken at one month interval, from the predetermined farms, which were heeld as packaged (Packaged) and stored outside near the barn as surrounded by a nylon (Non-packaged). Dry matter (DM), crude ash, crude oil, crude protein (CP), crude cellulose and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) levels in samples were determined. The non-packaged group when compared with the packaged group, it was determined that there was an increase in the DM, crude cellulose and NDF levels and, a decrease in CP level (P
