Abstract

In this review firstly, the development of anaerobic wastewater treatment technology and the integration of biotechnologies including other nutrients and sulfur removal in addition to carbon removal; moreover, the modification of reactor configuration in order to increase the system performance and the elimination of bottle-necks were emphasized. The definition of microorganism groups providing biological conversions determination of their functions and the identification of them for desired specific conversions using modern biological technics were taken charge for the improvement of the system performance. For the same purpose, the development of automation control systems and the methods for the prediction of system responses to the processes such as toxic substances and system commissioning by using inferentiakl models instead of conventional mathematical models were described.

Özet

Bu derlemede öncelikle, anaerobik atıksu arıtım teknolojilerinin geliştirilmesi, karbon giderimine ilave olarak diğer besleyici elementlerin ve sülfürün giderimini içeren biyoteknolojilerin entegrasyonu, sistem performansının artırılması amacıyla reaktör konflgürasyonlarının değiştirilmesi ve karşılaşılan darboğazların giderilmesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Sistem performansının artırılmasına yönelik olarak biyolojik dönüşümleri sağlayan mikroorganizma gruplarının tanımlanması, fonksiyonlarının belirlenmesi ve istenen özgül dönüşümler için modern biyolojik tekniklerin kullanımıyla tespit edilmelerine yönelik çalışmalar ele alınmıştır. Aynı amaç kapsamında otomasyon kontrol sistemlerinin geliştirilmesi ve sistem cevaplarının, toksik maddelerin ve devreye alma gibi işlemlerin sistem performansına etkilerinin geleneksel matematiksel modeller yerine çıkarımsal modeller kullanarak önceden tahminine yönelik yöntemler açıklanmıştır.
