Abstract

Background and Aim: The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of different mixing vehicles on the push-out bond strength of ProRoot MTA. Materials and Methods: Two hundred and ten 1-mm-thick root slices were randomly assigned into 7 groups with respect to the mixing vehicles (n=30/group): 1: (control group); distilled water, 2: 2% chlorhexidine digluconate; 3: articaine; 4: 5,25% sodium hypochlorite; 5: propylene glycol; 6: antiwashout gel; and 7: calcium chloride. In each group, test liquid was mixed with ProRoot MTA. Push-out bond strength test was performed and the data were analyzed statistically using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey’s post-hoc tests (p=0.05). Results: Mean push-out values of viscous mixing vehicles such as calcium chloride, antiwashout gel and propylene glycol groups were similar (p>0.05) and significantly greater from those of other groups (p

Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı farklı taşıyıcıların ProRoot MTA’nın push-out bağlanma dayanımına etkisinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bulgular: Antiwashout jel, kalsiyum klorit ve propilen glikol gruplarının ortalama push-out değerleri birbirleriyle benzer bulunurken(p>0.05) kalan diğer gruplardan yüksek bulunmuştur(p
