Abstract

Ameloblastoma is a benign tumor of odontogenic epitheliumwhich could rarely be seen in childhood. This report describesa mural unicystic ameloblastoma case which was treated withmarsupialization in a 12-years- old male patient. During sixyearsfollow-up period there was no recurrence and the secondmolar eruption was completed. Conservative treatment optionssuch as marsupialization might be preferred in children due tothe continuing facial growth and development as a treatmentoption for ameloblastoma cases.
