Abstract
Background and Aims: The recent coronavirus outbreak has created an urgent demand to solve patients’ problems using non-traditional methods such as teledentistry. The present study aimed to assess the knowledge and attitudes of senior dental students about teledentistry during COVID-19 pandemic and understanding their considerations on the necessity of adopting teledentistry course into dental curriculum. Subjects and Methods: A total of 70 senior dental students participated in this cross-sectional study. The pretested and self-structured questionnaires were completed by the students before and after the seminar providing information about teledentistry and the data were collected using an online survey portal.
