Abstract

In this study, sulfanilamid, sulfadiazin, sulfathiazole, sulfamerazine, sulfametazine, sulfamethoxazole and sulfadimethoxine residue analyses were performed in 536 samples in 2007, 2008 and 2009. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLCFLD) technique for analyses of amount determination and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for confirmation analyses were used at the residue analyses. At the results of analyses, 2 samples containing sulfanilamid at an average level of 102.45 μg/kg (6.9-198 μg/kg), 1 sample containing 24.86 μg/kg sulfadiazin, 108 samples containing sulfamethazine at an average level of 597.34 μg/kg (6.2-13356.7 μg/kg), 9 samples containing sulfamethoxazole at an average level of 25.01 μg/kg (10.66-70.1 μg/kg) and 6 samples containing sulfadimethoxine at an average level of 157.25 μg/kg (25.4- 542.5 μg/kg) were detected. In all of samples, contamination with sulfanilamid at a level of 0.37 %, contamination with sulfadiazin at a level of 0.19 %, contamination with sulfamethazine at a level of 20.15 %, contamination with sulfamethoxazole at a level of 1.68 % and contamination with sulfadimethoxine at a level of 1.12 % were calculated.
