Abstract

The majority of thymomas are found in the anterior mediastinum. Occasionally, some have been found in the neck, pulmonary hilus, or posterior mediastinum. A presented case of ectopic thymoma originating from pleura, mimicking benign fibrous tumor as rudiologically and cylologicaly at FNAI3 was presented in this paper. Post-operation analysis of the specimen was reported as mixed type, capsulated (stage 1) tymoma.

Spesimenin post-operasyon analizi mikst tip. kapsüllü (Evre I) timoma olarak rapor edilmiştir.
