Abstract

The incidence of pulmonary embolism lower than hemodialysis patients according to normal population. This is a case report of pulmonary embolism in a hemodialysis patient. An 18 years old male patient who last 1 year to 3 years of with hemodialysis follow-up end-stage renal disease was admitted our clinic because of chest pain and dyspnea. These complaints had developed after the treatment of partial thrombus on fistul vein. Physical examination and laboratory evaluation was considered pulmonary embolism. Both pulmonary artery embolisms were detected by multislice CT. Although pulmonary thromboembolism lower than normal population in hemodialysis patients but fistulas related problems in the case with accompanying dyspnea and chest pain, way although the clinical urgency of, and it should be kept in mind for the assessment must be made.
