Abstract
Today, it has been widely applied for video learning modules, for teaching health professionals before graduation and continuing education after graduation. It is clear that it is very important for the nurses who are employed in family planning services to attend continuing education programs and the video learning module that will support the individual learning. With this reality, this project in experimental design was implemented with the objectives of producing a video learning module (a video film and a learning hand book) that will support the knowledge and skills of nurse students related nursing roles and and effective counseling skills for family planning services and so, testing the effectiveness of the video learning module. In this study, one group preposl test model among the preex-perimental designs was applied for. After watching the film the high increase in the knowledge level of the nurse students indicated that the video learning module was an effective one.

Günümüzde sağlık personelinin mezuniyet öncesi ve sonrası eğitiminde, videolu eğitim modüllerinden yaygın biçimde yararlanılarak, bireysel öğrenimleri sağlanmaktadır. Ülkemizde aile planlaması hizmetlerinde görev alan hemşirelerin katılacakları sürekli eğitim programlarının gerekliliği ve bu programlarda yararlanılacak videolu eğitim modüllerinin hemşirelerin bireysel öğrenimlerine katkıda bulunacağı gerçeği yadsınamaz. Bu noktadan hareketle; bu proje çalışması hemşire öğrencilerin Aile Planlaması Hizmetlerinde Hemşirenin Rolü ve Etkili Danışmanlık Özellikleri konusuna yönelik bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirmek amacıyla videolu eğitim modülü üretmek (video film ve eğitim kitapçığı) ve videolu eğitim modülünün etkililiğini/yararlılığını test etmek amacıyla yan deneysel olarak yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada ön deneysel yöntemlerden tek grup pre-post test modeli uygulanmıştır. Filmin izleyen öğrencilerin bilgi düzeyindeki artış, videolu eğitim modülünün bilgilerini arttırmada etkili olduğunu göstermiştir.
