This study addresses the restoration approach and conservation project prepared for the documentation and transmission to future generations of the historical mosque located in Boyabat District, Sinop Province, Oğlakçılar Village (Block 147, Plot 59). The structure holds a privileged position among the historical mosques of Boyabat due to its historical background, artistic merit, and architectural characteristics within the local context. It is of great significance as it embodies the general characteristics of 19th-century provincial mosques with wooden ceilings in Anatolia. The mosque, which has not been the subject of any prior scientific study in the literature, is currently facing the risk of losing its original qualities due to unqualified interventions and damages accumulated over time. Within the scope of the research, architectural survey studies and analysis plates were first produced to determine the current state of the building, followed by restitution proposals developed through plates documenting the historical periods and the traceability of the mosque. Based on these foundations, a restoration-conservation project has been prepared to ensure the continuity of its original function by identifying restoration-based interventions, stripping the historical structure of unqualified additions, and proposing scientific solutions to structural problems and deterioration.

Bu çalışma; Sinop İli, Boyabat İlçesi, Oğlakçılar Köyü 147 ada 59 parselde yer alan tarihi caminin belgelenmesi ve gelecek kuşaklara aktarılması amacıyla hazırlanan koruma projesi ile koruma yaklaşımını ele almaktadır. Yapı; tarihsel geçmişi, yerel bağlamdaki sanatsal ve mimari özellikleriyle Boyabat’ın tarihi camileri içerisinde ayrıcalıklı bir yere sahiptir. Anadolu’da 19. yüzyıl ahşap tavanlı taşra camilerinin genel özelliklerini içermesi bakımından da önem arz etmektedir. Literatürde daha önce herhangi bir bilimsel çalışmaya konu edilmeyen yapı; mevcut durumdaki niteliksiz müdahaleler ve zamanla biriken hasarlar nedeniyle özgün niteliklerini kaybetme tehlikesiyle karşı karşıyadır. Araştırma kapsamında ilk olarak, yapının mevcut durumunun tespitine yönelik rölöve çalışmaları ve analiz paftaları üretilmiş, beraberinde caminin geçirdiği dönemler ve bilinebilirlik konusunda hazırlanan paftalar ile restitüsyon önerileri geliştirilmiştir. Tüm bu altlıklar üzerinden; restorasyonun temelini oluşturan müdahale tespitleri ile tarihi yapıyı niteliksiz eklerden arındırıp, bozulma ile strüktürel sorunlarına bilimsel çözüm önerileri getirilerek, özgün işlevini sürdürmeye yönelik, koruma projesi hazırlanmıştır.
