Abstract

Objective: This study aims to deconstruct the theoretical framework of expressions creating "fuzzy space" and "fuzzy time" in management processes and organizational communication. A "Managerial Language Protocol" model is presented to minimize communicative ambiguity affecting operational processes, employee motivation, and organizational productivity. Method: Using qualitative research methods including document and conceptual analysis techniques, ambiguous statements are categorized through management theories (Habermas' Communicative Action Theory, Shannon-Weaver Information Model, Weick's Sensemaking Theory, Daft-Lengel's Media Richness Theory), creating a multi-layered thematic taxonomy. Findings and Originality: Ambiguous expressions such as "soon," "somehow," "partially," "perhaps," and "probably" function as strategic tools or operational risk factors. The study analyzes tension between "strategic ambiguity" (Eisenberg, 1984) and "operational clarity" (Habermas, 1984), proposing a "Balanced Clarity Model" that identifies when ambiguous language provides flexibility versus resource waste. Original contributions include classifying epistemological and procedural dimensions beyond temporal and spatial aspects. Conclusion: Uncontrolled use of ambiguous language leads to role confusion, trust erosion, psychological capital loss, and performance decline. For sustainable corporate success, managers must adopt "measurable language" with clear time, quantity, and responsibility metrics while establishing contextual balance between strategic flexibility and operational clarity.
