Abstract

Congenital imperforate hymen is a rare external genital anomaly. It is rare in neonates and is usually diagnosed in puberty because of amenorrhea. Other anomalies especially urinary tract anomalies may be associated with imperforate hymen. In this article a one day old neonate with imperforate hymen is presental. The diagnosis was mod by inability of application of a vaginal catheter and the presence of hydrocolpos with spontaneous resulution

Özet

Konjenital imperfore himen dış genital sistemin ender görülen bir anomalisidir. Genellikle adet kanamasının olmaması yakınması ile pubertede tanı konur. Yenidoğanda tanı konması nadirdir. Özellikle üriner sistem olmak üzere diğer sistemlerin anomalileri ile beraber görülebilir. Bu makalede interlabial kitlesi olan bir günlük bir yenidoğanda imperfore himen vakası sunulmuştur. İmperfore himen tanısı vajinaya kateterin yerleştirilememesi ve hidrokolpos varlığı ile konan vaka, hidrokolposun spontan rezorbsiyonu ve yenidoğanda ender görülen bir dış genital anomali olması nedeniyle bildirilmiştir
