In today's competitive conditions, in order for businesses to grow in the market and maintain their place in the market, they must be able to respond to customer requests as soon as possible and produce these requests in good quality and at low cost. In order for businesses to survive in this challenging process, lean production has emerged as a management philosophy that reveals the problems of the current system of the enterprise and produces solutions to these problems, always aiming for excellence for the future. Lean production is seen as an indispensable strategy in simplifying the organisational structure of enterprises, eliminating unnecessary and inefficient processes and responding better to customer expectations. Lean production is a method that aims to transform waste into value and improves quality and efficiency. The aim of this study is to reveal the contribution of 5S to the productivity of the enterprise after the implementation of 5S in a manufacturing enterprise that produces parts for automobile and aircraft enterprises. As a result, 5S practices have increased the overall productivity of the enterprise by contributing to making the working environment cleaner, more organised and ergonomic. This study is important in terms of showing the contribution of 5S practices to a manufacturing enterprise.
