Abstract

This study investigates the synergistic effects of multi-level antecedents influencing voluntary workplace green behaviors. Drawing upon the integrated theoretical frameworks of the Ability-Motivation-Opportunity (AMO) theory and the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, the research tests the combinatorial impacts of green psychological climate (contextual), green self-efficacy (individual), and perceived green organizational support (organizational) on employees' voluntary green behaviors. A cross-sectional, survey-based research design was adopted to examine the relationships between these variables, and empirical data were collected from 275 employees operating within the Regional Directorates of Forestry in Konya and Karaman. The data and hypothesized relationships were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 22.0 software. The findings indicate that green psychological climate is a significant predictor of voluntary green behaviors and that green self-efficacy plays a mediating role in the relationship between green psychological climate and voluntary green behaviors. Furthermore, the results demonstrate that perceived green organizational support strengthens this indirect relationship.
