Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive review of 696 articles on green logistics, which aims to reduce environmental impacts in logistics processes. Various strategies such as green product design, green purchasing, green manufacturing, green production, green distribution and marketing, green warehousing, green packaging, and reverse logistics are presented. Recommendations are made that the adoption of these strategies will help businesses achieve their sustainability goals by reducing their environmental impact. All green logistics studies containing “green logistics” in the study title were scanned using the Web of Science (WoS) database and bibliometric analysis was performed. The bibliometrix package in the RStudio program was used for data analysis. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, general information is given for the studies on green logistics since 2000. The studies were analyzed according to year, author, keyword, source of publication, number of citations, institutions and countries of publication and the current situation regarding academic writing was examined. The research is supported by a literature review and application examples, revealing the environmental, economic and social benefits of green logistics.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, lojistik süreçlerde çevresel etkileri azaltmayı hedefleyen yeşil lojistik konusu hakkında 696 adet makaleyi kapsayan kapsamlı bir araştırmaya yer verilmiştir. Yeşil ürün tasarımı, yeşil satın alma, yeşil üretim, yeşil dağıtım ve pazarlama, yeşil depolama, yeşil ambalaj, tersine lojistik gibi çeşitli stratejiler sunulmaktadır. Bu stratejilerin benimsenmesi, işletmelerin çevresel etkilerini azaltarak sürdürülebilirlik hedeflerine ulaşmasına yardımcı olacağı konusunda öneriler yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, başlığında “Green Logistic” içeren tüm yeşil lojistik çalışmaları “Web of Science (WoS)” veri tabanı kullanılarak taranmış ve bibliyometrik analiz yapılmıştır.
