Abstract
In art education, it is important to increase the child's power of expression by respecting his inner world. Teachers and books guide this process. Including the theme of "child drawing" in textbooks is critical for the efficiency of education and training processes. The increasing tendency to write educational books in recent years has brought the quality of the books into question. Many books have been prepared for courses, especially in teacher training faculties. The aim of the research is to examine the theme of children's drawings in visual art education books using the content analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. The analysis process, which was started with the MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2020 Qualitative Data Analysis Program through the books within the scope of the research, was completed with the MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2024 Qualitative Data Analysis Program. Sanat eğitiminde, çocuğun iç dünyasına saygı gösterilerek onun ifade gücünü artırmak önemlidir. Öğretmenler ve kitaplar bu süreçte rehberlik eder. “Çocuk resmi” temasının ders kitaplarında yer alması, eğitim ve öğretim süreçlerinin verimliliği açısından kritiktir. Son yıllarda artan eğitim kitabı yazma eğilimi, kitapların kalitesini de tartışmaya açmıştır. Özellikle öğretmen yetiştiren fakültelerde, dersler için birçok kitap hazırlanmıştır. Görsel sanat eğitimi kitaplarında çocuk resmi temasının nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemi ile incelenmesi, araştırmanın amacıdır. Araştırma kapsamındaki kitaplar üzerinden MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2020 Nitel Veri Analiz Programı ile başlatılan analiz süreci, MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2024 Nitel Veri Analiz Programı ile tamamlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın; sanat eğitimi kitaplarının analizi noktasında, literatür azlığı ve alandaki çalışmalara ilk adım olması yönüyle, yapılacak yeni ve benzer çalışmalara örnek oluşu ile bir esin kaynağı olması düşünülmektedir.
