Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türk spor politikasına ilişkin mevcut durumu ortaya koyarak Türk spor politikasını oluşturan unsurlarla ilgili bazı önerilerde bulunmaktır. Çalışmada,spor politikasını oluşturan unsurlar; Teşkilatlanma, Federasyonların Özerkleşmesi, Spor Tesisleri, Eğitim, Sponsorluk, Sporcu Sağlığının Korunması, Uluslar arası İlişkiler ve Spor Ortamı olarak ele alınmış ve bu unsurların geliştirilmesiyle ilgili öneriler belirtilmiştir. Sonuçta, devletin spora bakış açısının belirlenmesiyle ilgili bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur
