Humans love the beauty intrinsically. Human beings interested in the accessories and clothes that make them beautiful throughout history and used them within the bounds of opportunities. When the Islamic states borders enhanced and the opportunities of Moslems increased, the usage of the types of ornaments and jewellery also showed itself in daily life. The silk and gold come first as an ornament and jewellery used in daily life. After Our Holy Prophet had a gold ring made to use as a seal on the invitation letters, the usage of gold ring became popular among the companions of prophet Mohammed. Likewise, Silk fabric that were gifted after Tebük campaign caused to be popular among them. In time, by defining the usage of silk and gold in the daily life of Moslems’ by the holy prophet Mohammed, some restrictions imposed to the men. We aim to identify the time and place of Vurud the cause of saying hadith of the rumour by taking into consideration the hadith that forbids silk and gold to the men and the other rumours about this topic in the light of historical data. To understand this hadith that affects our social life in this context constitutes the main purpose of this research

Özet

İnsan tabiatı gereği güzel olanı sever. İnsanoğlu tarih boyunca kendini güzelleştirecek aksesuarlara ve giysilere ilgi duymuş ve bunları fırsatları ölçüsünde kullanmıştır. İslam Devleti’nin sınırları genişleyip Müslümanların imkânları arttıkça süs ve ziynet türü kullanımlar da günlük hayatta daha fazla kendini göstermeye başlamıştır. Günlük hayatta kullanılan süs ve ziynetlerin başında altın ve ipek gelmektedir. Hz.
