Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the religious terms in the Turkish textbooks used in the 2023-2024 academic year in imam hatip secondary schools and secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. For this purpose, first of all, the words in the "religious science" category in the Turkish Dictionary (TS), whose 12th edition was published by the Turkish Language Association in 2023, were examined. Afterwards, the frequency of occurrence of these words in secondary school (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade) Turkish textbooks was determined. The data obtained through document review, one of the qualitative research methods, was analyzed using document analysis. According to the findings of the research, there are 475 religious terms in TS. 38 of these terms (with a frequency of 222 occurrences) appear in secondary school Turkish textbooks. The religious terms identified together with their frequency of occurrence are as follows: ablution, Allah, verse, mosque, hell, heaven, Friday prayer, religion (I), religious affairs, prayer, saint, gazi, pilgrim, cross, God, caliph, hatim, halal. , worship, iftar, faith, belief, apocalypse, church, sacrifice, holy, temple, madrasah, angel, Mevla, mihrab, Jew, prayer, soul, devil, god, God and saint. In this research, religious terms in secondary school Turkish textbooks were investigated. It may be suggested that future studies can be conducted on religious terms in different textbooks.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı imam hatip ortaokullarında ve ortaokullarda 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında kullanılan Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki dinî terimlerin tespit edilmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikli olarak Türk Dil Kurumu tarafından 2023 yılında 12. baskısı yapılan Türkçe Sözlük’teki (TS) “din bilimi” kategorisinde bulunan sözcükler incelenmiştir. Sonrasında ise ortaokul (5., 6., 7. ve 8. sınıf) Türkçe ders kitaplarında bu sözcüklerin geçiş sıklıkları çıkarılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman incelemesi ile elde edilen veriler, doküman analizi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre TS’de 475 dinî terim bulunmaktadır. Bu terimlerin 38 tanesi (222 geçiş sıklığı ile) ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında geçmektedir. Tespit edilen dinî terimler geçiş sıklıklarıyla birlikte şu şekildedir: abdest, Allah, ayet, cami, cehennem, cennet, cuma namazı, din (I), diyanet işleri, dua, eren, gazi, hacı, haç, Hak, halife, hatim, helal, ibadet, iftar, iman, inanç, kıyamet, kilise, kurban, kutsal, mabet, medrese, melek, Mevla, mihrap, Musevi, namaz, ruh, şeytan, tanrı, Tanrı ve veli. Bu araştırmada ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki dinî terimler araştırılmıştır. Daha sonra yapılacak çalışmalarda farklı ders kitaplarındaki dinî terimler üzerine araştırmalar yapılabileceği önerilebilir.
