Abstract
The tourism sector in Turkey is gradually developing due to the different types of tourism it includes and the number of visitors is gradually increasing. Cappadocia Region is a destination of increasing importance with its tourism types such as fairy chimneys, hot air balloons, caves and hot springs. The travelling is done under time constraints due to different reasons. This study was designed by taking into account the necessity of developing region-specific routing problem examples in the literature and the development of the sector. Within the scope of this study, important tourism destinations in the Cappadocia Region have been identified and it is aimed to enable visitors to complete their trips with the shortest tour considering the time constraint. Therefore, the most important places in the region were prioritised with the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method, taking into account the time constraint, and the most important places were determined. Afterwards, the distance information of these places was determined on google maps and modelled in accordance with the integer linear programming based travelling salesman problem logic. As a result of the studies, it is planned that the visitors to the region will complete their visits by seeing the important places in the shortest way.
