Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the phenomenon of "organizational dehumanization"—a process in which employees' human attributes are ignored and they are perceived as mere tools or machines in the business world—using the bibliometric analysis technique. The primary objective of the research is to reveal the annual distribution, developmental trajectory, and intellectual structure of scientific works published in the Web of Science (WoS) database between 2014 and 2025. Within the scope of the study, 81 academic publications meeting the specified criteria were analyzed in terms of citation networks, author collaborations, institutional contributions, and thematic trends using the RStudio platform and the Bibliometrix package. Findings indicate that the field has gained momentum since 2020 and that Belgium, China, and Spain are the leading countries in terms of production. According to the analysis results, Stinglhamber F. and Caesens G. emerge as the most influential authors, while the Catholic University of Louvain provided the highest contribution at the institutional level. Thematic mapping results demonstrate that concepts such as "job satisfaction," "emotional exhaustion," and "abusive supervision" maintain their central roles, while topics like "psychological safety" and "social exclusion" are confirmed as emerging themes. In conclusion, by consolidating the fragmented literature into a holistic framework, this study offers a pathway for examining the subject within the axis of digitalization and artificial intelligence management for future research.
