The Effect Of React Strategy In Teaching Of “Excretory System” Subject

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of REACT strategy on the students’achievements, inquiry learning skills perceptions and motivations towards biology learning.The data collection tools were excretory system achievement test, scale of inquiry learningskills perception and motivation scale towards biology learning. The sample included in totally58 10th graders from a secondary school in center of Kars. According the findings from study,it was seen that achievements of the students in experimental groups increased in statisticallysignificant level. In addition, students’ inquiry learning skills perceptions was not foundedstatistically significant. However, it was founded that there was a notable decrease in scores ofcontrol group in terms of motivation towards biology learning.
