Comparison of Exam Success of Teacher Candidates Graduated From Foreign Language 2013 Kpssp-10 Score Kpssp-121 Test

Abstract
The aim of this study is that comparing the success of teacher candidates in 2013 thePublic Personnel Selection Examination participating (KPSSP-10 Rating KPSSP-121 test)who is graduated from a foreign language education (in German, French and English) thatis the source of the teaching profession. Research, in accordance with this study, covers theappointed teachers who are graduated from faculty of education, faculty of arts and sciencesand participating in teaching profession knowledge test(KPSSP-121). Comparison was madeas frequency, arithmetic mean and percentage distribution through the datas obtained fromthe study. 19 449 number of candidate teachers participated in teaching profession knowledgetest(KPSSP-121). It is compared that point interval/range, gender, average of correct answer, numerical distribution of appointed teachers within teachers who are participated in the test(KPSSP-121) and graduated from a foreign language education. It is observed that averagetest success points of graduates from faculty of education are higher than the graduates fromfaculty of arts and sciences. Therefore it is expected that the research results will contribute toTurkey’s foreign language teacher training and employment policy.
