THE ANALYSIS OF HAIRDRESSING PROFESSION IN TERMS OF VARIOUS SOCIAL VARIABLES

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the profession of hairdressing in terms of various socialvariables. In this study conducted as a qualitative research, a total of ten interviews were donewith ten hairdressers working three different cities. Interviews with hairdressers were conductedwith semi-structured interview form created by researchers in the study using phenomenologicaldesign from qualitative research designs. In the analysis part of the study, the questions relatedto professional knowledge were taken to qualitative analysis separately and the themes relatedto the questions were formed. The themes created are discussed in the context of the findings ofprevious studies.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı kuaförlük mesleğinin çeşitli sosyal değişkenler bakımından incelenmesidir. Nitel bir araştırma olarak yürütülen bu çalışmada üç farklı ilde kuaför olarak çalışmakta olan toplam on kuaför ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Nitel araştırma desen lerinden fenomenolojik desenin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada kuaförlerle görüşmeler araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan yarı - yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın analiz bölümünde mesleki bilgilere ilişkin sorular ayrı ayrı nitel analiz e alınmıştır ve ilgili sorulara ilişkin temalar oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan temalar daha önce yapılan benzer çalışmaların bulguları eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
