Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to determine the predictive level ofperfectionism, anxiety, and procrastination on academic achievement and to describeinterrelationships among the variables. A convergent parallel mixed methodsresearch design was applied in the study. The participants included 522 collegestudents. The “Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale,” “Foreign LanguageClassroom Anxiety Scale,” and “Aitken Academic Procrastination Inventory” wereused as data collection tools for the quantitative portion of the study, and thequantitative data were analyzed through correlational and multiple linear regressionanalysis. The qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis by organizinga focus group interview with seven students. The findings of the regression analysisrevealed the three predictors, perfectionism, anxiety and procrastination, explained54 % of the variance (R2 = .54, p
