Abstract
In this research, it is aimed to obtain information about the postgraduate thesis studies of tobacco experts, the only specialization branch related to tobacco and its technology in our country. The history of the tobacco expert profession in Turkey dates back to 1875. In tobacco expertise education, the process, which started as a course in 1928, continued in 1975 within the structure of the college. The undergraduate education of the tobacco expert profession started in 1984, the first graduate education was obtained in 1987 and the doctorate education was obtained in 1990. During the period covering the years 1987-2020, 52 tobacco experts-tobacco technology engineers completed postgraduate education. In the research, it was revealed that tobacco experts contributed to the field of science by doing postgraduate studies in different programs of 4 basic science fields in science and social science institutes.
Özet
Bu araştırmada, ülkemizde tütün ve teknolojisi ile ilgili tek uzmanlık kolu olan tütün eksperliği meslek mensuplarının yaptıkları lisansüstü tez çalışmaları hakkında bilgi edinilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Türkiye’de tütün eksperliği mesleğinin tarihi geçmişi 1875’lere dayanmaktadır. Tütün eksperliği eğitiminde ise, 1928 Yılından itibaren önceleri kurs şeklinde başlayan süreç, daha sonra 1975 yılında yüksekokulu bünyesinde devam etmiştir. Tütün eksperliği mesleğinin lisans düzeyinde eğitimi 1984 yılında başlamış, ilk yüksek lisans eğitimi 1987 yılında, doktora eğitimi ise 1990 yılında elde edilmiştir. 1987-2020 Yıllarını kapsayan süreçte 52 tütün eksperi-tütün teknolojisi mühendisi lisansüstü eğitim yapmışlardır. Araştırmada tütün eksperlerinin fen ve sosyal bilim enstitülerinde 4 temel bilim alanının farklı programlarında farklı bilim dallarında lisansüstü çalışması yaparak bilim alanına katkı sundukları ortaya çıkmıştır.
