Abstract
This research, which is about the leadership behaviors of teachers in line with various variables, was conducted with the aim of examining the leadership orientations of physical education teachers and teachers from different branches. The study group of the research consists of a total of 400 teachers, 126 physical education teachers, 112 classroom teachers and 162 other branch teachers, who volunteered to participate in the research, among the teachers working in primary and secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Gaziantep Province Şehitkamil District in 2022. General screening method was used in the study. Data were collected by applying the "Multidimensional Leadership Orientations Scale (MLOS)" developed by Dursun et al. (2019a) together with the personal information form. The collected data were entered into SPSS 22.0 statistical program and reliability test, descriptive analysis and normality test were performed. As a result of the normality analyzes applied to the data collection tool of the research, it was concluded that the scale data did not show a normal distribution. Therefore, non-parametric test techniques were used. Mann Whitney-U test was used to mix two independent variables, and Kruskal Wallis-H test was used to compare more than two independent variables. Mann Whitney-U test was applied between paired groups in order to determine which groups were in favor of the differences obtained as a result of Kruskal Wallis-H test. Öğretmenlerin çeşitli değişkenleri doğrultusunda liderlik davranışlarına yönelik olan bu araştırma, beden eğitimi öğretmenleri ile farklı branşlardaki öğretmenlerin liderlik yönelimlerinin incelenmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022 yılında Gaziantep İli Şehitkamil İlçesinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerden araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden gönüllü 126 beden eğitimi öğretmeni, 112 sınıf öğretmeni ve 162 diğer branş öğretmeni olmak üzere toplam 400 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada genel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgi formu ile birlikte Dursun vd. (2019a) tarafından geliştirilen “Çok Yönlü Liderlik Yönelimleri Ölçeği (ÇYLYÖ)” uygulanarak veriler toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS 22.0 istatistik programına girilerek güvenilirlik testi, tanımlayıcı analizler ve normallik testi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aracına uygulanan normallik analizleri sonucunda ölçek verilerinin normal dağılım göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu yüzden parametrik olmayan test tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. İki bağımsız değişkenin karıştırılması için Mann Whitney-U testi, ikiden fazla bağımsız değişkenin karşılaştırılması için ise Kruskal Wallis-H testi kullanılmıştır. Kruskal Wallis-H testi sonucu elde edilen farkların hangi gruplar lehine olduğunu tespit etmek için ikili gruplar arasında Mann Whitney-U testi uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak; ÇYLYÖ’nün yapısal liderlik, insan kaynaklı liderlik, politik liderlik ve karizmatik liderlik boyutlarında branş, cinsiyet, idarecilik yapma durumu ve mesleki kıdem değişkenlerine göre öğretmenler arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir (p
