Abstract

Addiction, despite all its harmful physical and psychological effects on people, is still continued to use extensively, after it’s use, it was characterized by exposure to negative effects such as the development of tolerance and withdrawal to the substance and leading to disorders in emotional situations; it is a chronic disease from a neurodevelopmental, genetic and sociocultural point of view. Substances that cause addiction, take advantage of the great flexibility of the brain to reshape neuron circuits; in the family structure, health, work, basically destroy life itself. Addiction is divided into physiologically and psychologically in individuals. Psychological dependence is defined as a physical desire for substance; physical addiction is explained in the form of substance use becoming a habit, tolerance and withdrawal symptoms starting to be observed.
