In this research the scholar side, upbringing conditions and works of the poets from Kütahya and Germiyan are compared according to the 16th century sources.When introducing the poets from Kütahya, firstly the sources of the 16th century are examined. The sources, especially an art critic look of the anthologists to the poets whom lived until the last quarter of the 16th century, and their evaluations are presented. Özet
Bu araştırmada XVI. yüzyıl kaynaklarına göre Germiyân ve Kütahya çevresinde yetişen şâirlerin ilmî yönü, yetişme artları ve eserleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Kütahyalı şâirler tanıtılırken öncelikle XVI. yüzyıl kaynakları incelenmiş, Germiyan ve Kütahya coğrafyasında XVI. yüzyılın son çeyreğine kadar yaşamış şâirlere, kaynakların özellikle birer edebiyat eleştirmeni diyebileceğimiz tezkirecilerin bakış açıları ve değerlendirmeleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Tezkirelerde ve diğer kaynaklarda sosyal ve kültürel durum bakımından yapılan yorumlarda, şâirlerin nerelerde öğrenim görüp yetiştikleri, ilmî seviyelerinin ne durumda olduğu, meslekleri, mevkileri ve geçim durumları ile ilgili bilgiler karşılaştırılarak, bu bölgede sanatı ve sanatçıyı etkileyen faktörler ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır
