Bu çalışmanın amacı maksillomandibuler ilişkinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan Wits Ölçümünün yine maksillomandibuler ilişkinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan Palatal Düzlem/A-B açısıyla karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu amaçla 203 erişkin bireye ait teşhis lateral sefalogramı üzerinde 54 adet ölçüm yapılmış, Wits Ölçümü ve Palatal Düzlem/A-B açısı için standardize değerler (Z skorları) hesaplanarak bu ölçümler karşılaştırabilir hale getirilmiştir.
