Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the leisure behaviors of Syrian individuals who are under temporary migration status as a result of civil war in Syria in their lives in temporary shelters prepared for them. Interview method, one of the qualitative research data collection methods, was used in the research. The working group consists of 24 Syrian participants living in the accommodation centers in Hatay. Data; data were analyzed through naming, coding, extracting, theme development and reporting stages. According to the findings of the research, the behavior of war psychology, unemployment, and insufficiency of opportunities in living spaces in the spare time are negatively affected. Although there is enough free time in the camps, inadequate leisure activities are noticeable. As a result of the research, it was determined that the leisure behavior, unemployment, language problem, adjustment problem, income problem, leisure time arising from unemployment and not evaluating leisure time negatively affect the temporary protection status of Syrian individuals in the study group. It can be said that Syrians withtemporary protection status need more planning and implementation for leisure activities in terms of morale and health for each age group.

Bu çalışma Suriye’de iç savaş neticesinde göçe maruz kalan geçici koruma statüsündeki Suriyeli bireylerin kendileri içinhazırlanan geçici barınma yerlerinde ki yaşamlarında boş zaman davranışlarını değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmadanitel araştırma veri toplama yöntemlerinden birisi olan görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu Hatay’da bulunanbarınma merkezlerinde yaşayan 24 Suriyeli katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Veriler; verileri adlandırma, kodlama, ayıklama, temageliştirme ve raporlaştırma aşamaları ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre savaş psikolojisi, işsizlik, yaşamalanlarındaki imkânların yetersizliğinin boş zamanlarında gösterilecek davranışları olumsuz etkilenmektedir. Kamplardakiboş zaman sürelerinin yeterince bulunmasına rağmen, boş zaman aktivitelerinin yetersizliği göze çarpmaktadır. Araştırmasonucunda, çalışma grubunda yer alan geçici koruma statüsündeki Suriyeli bireylerin boş zaman davranışını, işsizlik, dilproblemi, uyum sorunu, gelir problemi, işsizlikten doğan boş zaman ve boş zamanın nitelikli değerlendirilmemesi hususlarınınolumsuz etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Geçici koruma statüsündeki Suriyelilerin her yaş grubu için moral ve sağlık bakımından boşzaman faaliyetlerine yönelik daha fazla planlama ve uygulamaya ihtiyaç duyulduğu söylenebilir.
