Abstract
Values are essential criteria that guide the behaviors and preferences of individuals in social life. Values were sometimes tried to be acquired directly and indirectly in curricula. In this research, it is aimed to determine the values for the purposes of the Life Science lesson curricula 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2015 and 2018. In the study, document analysis technique was used as data collection tool. With this aim, the data obtained in the research were analyzed by coding with content analysis. Primary School Program 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2015 and 2018 Life Science lessons generally include fundamental values (love, respect, sensitivity, responsibility, honesty/righteousness). The values were not determined because the purposes of the Life Science course in 2005 and 2009 Primary Education Programs were not found. 2015 and 2018 Primary School Program it is seen that for the purposes of the Life Science course, the values of national, moral and human values, family values, and social values are more common than previous programs.

Değerler toplumsal hayatta bireylerin davranışlarına ve tercihlerine yön veren önemli ölçütlerdir. Eğitim-öğretim programlarında değerler, kimi zaman örtük kimi zaman ise doğrudan kazandırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmada 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2015 ve 2018 Hayat Bilgisi Öğretim Programlarının amaçlarında değerlerin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama tekniklerinden biri olan doküman inceleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu amaçla, belirtilen programların arşiv kayıtları incelenerek veriler içerik analizi yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2015 ve 2018 İlkokul Programı Hayat Bilgisi dersinin amaçlarında genel olarak temel bazı değerlere (sevgi, saygı, duyarlılık, sorumluluk, doğruluk/dürüstlük) yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. 2005 ve 2009 İlköğretim Programlarında Hayat Bilgisi dersinin amaçları bulunmadığı için değerler tespit edilememiştir. 2015 ve 2018 İlkokul Programı Hayat Bilgisi dersinin amaçlarında önceki programların aksine milli, manevi ve insani değerler, ailevi değerler ve toplumsal değerler gibi daha genel ifadelerle değerlere yer verildiği görülmüştür.
