Abstract

In this study Penicillium toxicarium was cited for the first time as a new record of Penicillium in Turkey. This species was isolated from decaying wood samples in Usak province, Turkey. Morphological, colonial and molecular identification were performed. Fungal DNA Isolation Kit and universal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) primers were used for molecular identification.
