Abstract

In this study, the first record of Pterulicium gracile (Desm. & Berk.) Leal-Dutra, Dentinger & G.W. Griff., belonging to the genus Pterulicium Boidin, which has not previously been recorded from the mycobiota of Türkiye, is presented. The specimens were collected during field studies conducted between 24 and 30 November 2020 in the Depin locality of Sümbül Neighborhood, Hakkâri Province, at an altitude of 1314 m. The specimens were observed growing on decaying leaves of walnut (Juglans regia L.) and poplar (Populus spp.) in a deciduous woodland habitat. In the literature, Pterulicium gracile is generally reported to occur singly or in small groups on decaying plant material, leaves, and the stems of herbaceous plants in deciduous woodlands and swamp habitats. The collected specimens were evaluated by comparing their morphological characteristics and habitat preferences with the information provided in the relevant literature, and the species identification was confirmed. This finding is also significant as it represents the first record of the genus Pterulicium from Türkiye and contributes to expanding the current knowledge of the macrofungal diversity of the country.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye mikobiyotasında daha önce kaydı bulunmayan Pterulicium Boidin cinsine ait Pterulicium gracile (Desm. & Berk.) Leal-Dutra, Dentinger & G.W.
